The positioning of air conditioning and external boiler units must be carefully considered where they are not visible to the street or neighbouring gardens. Should the location of the unit be restricted, suitable methods of screening should be considered. Associated pipe runs should be carefully considered to have minimal visual impact.

Proposed units should be positioned to avoid unnecessary impact to neighbouring properties from the production of fumes and noise.
